As previously advised to you in July this year, our parent company in New York, USA, AIU Holdings, adopted a new brand--Chartis.

Over the last 2 months we have been working hard to rebrand ourselves under this new name. Our English name will change from “AIG General Insurance Company China Limited” to “Chartis Insurance Company China Limited”. However, our registered Chinese name known as Mei Ya Bao Xian 美亚保险 will remain unchanged as will all your policy terms and conditions and our services.

We will shortly complete our transition to the new Chartis brand and logo. As a result, as of September 21, 2009, the URL for the Company will change from “http://www.aiu.com.cn” to “http://www.chartisinsurance.com.cn” in line with this new global re-branding.

It is important to note that although our website address changed - our people, great products and commitment to customer service excellence has not.

今年7月我们曾向您通报：我公司在美国纽约的AIU Holdings已经启用了新品牌Chartis。

在过去的2个月里，我们一直在准备公司品牌变更的各项工作。我们公司的英文名称将从“AIG General Insurance Company China Limited” 变更为 “Chartis Insurance Company China Limited”。然而，我公司依法注册的中文公司名称“美亚财产保险有限公司”仍保持不变，而公司所提供的产品和服务也不会改变。

配合全球品牌更新的进展，我们不久将完成过渡到新品牌Chartis的全部准备工作。自2009年9月21日起，我们公司的网站链接将从“http://www.aiu.com.cn” 变更为 “http://www.chartisinsurance.com.cn”。

尽管我公司的网址变了，但我们优秀的员工、出众的产品以及卓越的客户服务承诺始终不变。
